The non-secular sphere of the vegetarian movement has a largely forgotten heritage. The Order of the Golden Age in particular could be regarded as a precursor to several vegetarian groups which have emerged from the modern animal rights movement. Perhaps the most revealing aspect of O.G.A. literature can be found in the fresh and even enhanced character which it conveys through an electronic presentation. The transition of O.G.A. insights from dusty journals and elusive tracts to the Internet, is far too long overdue.
